Imagine

Imagine there’s no heaven,
It’s easy if you try,
No hell below us,
Above us only sky,
Imagine all the people
living for today…

Imagine there’s no countries,
It isnt hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
No religion too,
Imagine all the people
living life in peace…

Imagine no possesions,
I wonder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man,
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world…

You may say Im a dreamer,
but Im not the only one,
I hope some day you’ll join us,
And the world will live as one.

Alaskan Thoughts

Here is a cool story about traveling to Artic Circle in Alaska : Alaska: Venturing north of the Arctic Circle

Here is a site that Harold found that a guy made about his trip up to Alaska, it is pretty neat : Mikey’s Arctic Circle2

Kind of makes me homesick.

What an interesting week it has been.

About this time last week I had a sore jaw, it felt like it needed to pop, but wouldn’t pop. Then Sunday we went to a sports bar to eat and watch football I was having issues chewing, just wasn’t as easy to chew as it normally was. Then Monday I woke up and could not chew at all and my front teeth kept clicking into each other which has never happen before and as hard as I tried I could not clinch my back teeth at all, so I had to eat with my front teeth “chewing” my food, try that a few times and see how incredibly annoying that is.

So we called the Dr and I got squeezed into a 4pm appointment and after a few test she had no idea what the deal was, she ruled out TMJ, Tetanus and any cold/sinus infections, she gave me a subscription for some Motrin to see if it will reduce any inflammation I had in my jaw and went looking for a head and neck specialist who could do more. I took a Motrin (800 mgs in size which is huge) and I was pretty much groggy for the rest of the night, Seattle killed Philly 42-0 and I can barley remember watching that game. I went to bed around 1130pm and when I woke up at 5am I could completely close my jaw and once more clinch my teeth. Still not sure what the issue is, but I can still chew and do everything normal as I once could. Of course the only Dr around here that I need to see that accepts our insurance is an hour away

Fun.

Today is also December 7, which is the day the USA was attacked in 1941, and tomorrow will be December 8 which will be the day John Lennon was killed, and for my Canadian friends, yesterday was December 6 which was the Halifax explosion anniversary which was the largest non nuclear man made explosion in history of the world, seems that December has a lot of bad things happen.

Heck, I hate shopping for presents, this year we got Heather, Charles, & Cheyanne taken care of early. We also need to run to the worse part of town to get Pauline’s cell phone worked on, dangthing isn’t dialing as it should be. And I still have no clue what to get Pauline this year, this is the hardest year I have ever had with her, I always had an idea of what to get her before the holiday season and this year I am blank.

I hate this time of year…

Neglectful Me

I know I have been neglectful as of late. Every time I think of some thing to write I’m not near my pc & then when I am, nothing comes to mind….go figure……..lol

I had planned on doing a long post today since it was my day off, but I actually found other things to keep me busy….grin

We went and saw Harry Potter, it was a very good movie. You can see the subject matter mature along with the characters. Of course, that book was the longest of the 1st four, so they couldn’t get all the details in as well as the 1st three movies. So if you’ve seen the movie, but haven’t read the book……….you really need to read it.

We mailed off about 80 Xmas cards. =) So happy that I did good on getting them done.

I then put up our tree & got it all decorated, Harold put the topper on (his role in the decorating……lol). I try to do it on the 3rd of Dec. in memory of my late uncle Rod’s B-day, but with my work schedule I’m afraid it would not have been possible. It didn’t help that today was my last day off until next Friday.

So on that note, I’m heading to bed, I have to get up early tomorrow for work.
