We cut our trip short by 2-3 days.  It was fun, but it was time.  I have written about 6 pages of an update without pictures. Just will take time to post.

We are here in Malibu, I have a ton to write when I get the opportunity.  My goal was a daily post but that went down the tubes quick.

I just wanted to say that it is great to actually not have the air condition on and it has been a long while since we took a drive in a sporty convertible…….cherry red mustang in fact.  We had some time to enjoy the sunset and decide to drive up the coast a bit.  It was great!

Time to get a few other things done and maybe I can work on my blog about the trip.

We need to get on the road…….this waiting is stressing us out….gggrrr I’m so tired of doing errands and finding more crap that we need. We try to be organized, but it no where near organized as I would like.

Harold got home safe, sound and stressed out.

I went and got my hair colored and cut/styled. For those who aren’t aware, I am a natural strawberry blonde, when I spend time in the sun and pool it really brings out the blonde. The color that I love to put into my hair is the dark, dark burgundy red. It never lasts in a few weeks I’ll be back to my fire engine red. But I like that color….I just don’t like it when my blonde comes out. The red is so much more me….especially with my temper.

I tried to take a few self portraits of it but they sucked. No way near showing it off as they should. And of course, there is no way that I will be able to replica the style myself. But I like it. I lost a few inches do to bad ends and I then had him layer it, just to try something different. It adds more body to it.

I did finally get our accounts balanced. So that was nice, now some how I need to enter in the ton of receipts that have been created………icks…. It is enough to want to pull my hair out.

I need to get to bed, I have to start early to get the laundry done and get my nails done………going to do them in blues.

I’ve been meaning to update this daily, but I have been sucking at this.  It has been hard to get things done during the day.  For some reason, I get the burst of energy to attack things around here in the evening….weird.

I really, really need to balance our accounts…icks.  But I have been doing my work online and I’ll probably be tied up with it tomorrow.

Well, yesterday I did go out to the bookstore just so I can have an actual table and chair to work on.  That was helpful as hell.  I also did get some time in the pool and sun.

I had to get up early today to head over for my last foot doctor appointment. He says I’m doing fine and that it will take a long time to full heal up….the same thing he told me before, I’m just impatient with it.

Afterwards I came home and grabbed our laundry.  The cats threw up on a comforter and I couldn’t let it sit.  So I spent part of the morning, for the 1st time since my college years at a laundry mate.  Unfortunately, it didn’t have any air………icks, but the lady that was there was really nice.  Now, Harold doesn’t care for me going to laundry mates, safety wise. But I like how much quicker the washing and drying happens.  And there is something nice and peaceful there sometimes.  You can get some mental me time that you don’t get very often anymore. When I was in college, I liked the time that it forced me to focus on my homework or get some reading done.

Then it was on to a few errands that needed to be done.  Tomorrow I need to go turn in our PO Box keys.  I have the mail being forwarded from there to our new address, which is going to be held for the next month……lol  With the unconditioned laundry mate, it tired me out and I ended up taking a nap today….sad.  I didn’t even feel like getting into the pool.

I ended up getting more work done online and within the last 2 hours I attacked putting the laundry away and did a general cleaning around here.

Unfortunately I can’t stay up and attack more cleaning. I have the carpet cleaners coming tomorrow morning……..joy, joy.

I have to comment that I think I have a strange cat.  Alexis keeps jumping into the cat carriers that we have out for them to get use to and sleeping…..she is a nut.
