Very intense day at work today. It is time for our regular overhaul at work, which is intense in of itself….but what makes it even harder is that we have our VP coming in Thursday. Which sucks in that normally we have until Friday to get everything done, but now we only have until Thursday morning…..icks.. But we got a ton done and they got a bunch done Monday, so we are doing pretty good, but still have a bunch of things to attack tomorrow.
Brain just hit the wall……I’m heading to bed.

Boy, we were running around everywhere today. Trying to get everything done, so on my day off Friday we don’t have to go anywhere.
1st thing we had to do was head to the bank. I had some questions I needed answer for international business and then take care of some our personal business. Then we had some packages to send off. I had somethings that I wanted to donate to Bitch Magazine, plus I had somethings I wanted to send up to my family. Then we stopped by the nearest sprint store to ask a few questions about new phones, since we were due for them. Then on to staples for a few office supplies…..fun, fun. Then to wally world for a return and a few groceries…..
Got home and had a lunch (if you can call it that) and got down to business………..of course, nothing I had originally planned on. But I did balance out our checkbook, called sprint to resign up just so we can get a promotional deal and then back to the sprint store…..and this time did not leave empty handed! These are the phones we got : Katana Harold got the black and I got the goregous blue (of course). Unfortunately I haven’t time to really play with it. =( So I’ll try to do some of that later.
I just got done putting away a ton of laundry and about to really hit the work that I’ve needed to do for while. =)Â Lets see how far I get.

Ok, wow……Harold will be heading to see his folks next week. It is a spur of the moment thing.
He had ordered his mom a new dell a few months ago since her old pc had so many issues. Well, we didn’t think and when he ordered it, it came with Vista….oops. His mom doesn’t know and we don’t know it at all to help her. She hasn’t been able to get the printer to work and of course, telephone customer service isn’t all that great in general.
I hate the fact that she has this pc and printer and isn’t able to use it for what she needs. We wanted it make it easier for her to stay in contact with family and print out pictures, not harder and more frustrating.
Then I feel bad about my work schedule……I just don’t have the time off for us to head up there to visit and we haven’t seen them in about 5yrs. We were planning on heading up there in Feb., but Harold broke his foot and had to have surgery. =( I really don’t like not seeing immediate family for that long and the fact that Harold hasn’t seen his own folks in that time……icks. So I suggested to Harold about flying out in the next 2 weeks to see them before he heads to Portland and I on to Indiana for the wedding.
What I’m not going to miss by not going up there is to see Harold get frustrated when trying to get everything hooked up and dealing with dell………grin At least his folks knows how his mouth can get…….lol Plus, he will not be happy dealing with Minnesota cold…….lol
I’m happy that he is going to see his folks, since it has been a long time. I just wish I was able to go and we’ve been able to do it sooner.
Speaking of family, I’m so looking forward to visiting with mine at the end of the month. =) I fly in on Thursday and on Friday, my sister and I are going to take a road trip and visit 2 of our great aunts (Mary & Evelyn). They are in their 80s & 90s and some of the very few family member left in our grandparents generation. I would like to spend some time with them since there isn’t much left. Saturday I’m heading to Purdue (thank god, the Grand Prix crowd is the weekend before) so I can get some shirts and other Purdue things. Then off to Jessie & Chris’ wedding. Sunday, it is all about spending that day at my folks with my sister, nieces & nephew. I can’t wait, I’m going to be running everywhere, I just hope I remember how to get to my locations….I have a horrible memory when it is hasn’t been used in awhile.
Rats, time to get ready for work…..at least I have Sopranos afterwards tonight………..grin

I’m here eating ice cream that I shouldn’t be eating at this time of night……..but I just can’t resist….watching INXS videos from the 80s/90s…..damn, I miss that era of music……cool, No Rain by Blind Melon……..Take On Me by A-Ha…..Hungry Like A Wolf by Duran Duran……..major flash backs.
I had a busy day at work. Rode my bike in. I had rode home yesterday and it felt good, so it sounded like riding in was a good idea. It helped me sleep last night and helps with the stress.
When my laptop battery died last night, I took the time to get somethings cleaned around my desk……..thank god. I swear having it disorganized is what stresses me out to the max. It makes me feel overwhelmed…..I hate it when crap just gets piled up on it, I just want to lose it when it happens.
Today I came home, slowly unpacked my back pack in an organized fashion then I was able to sit down at my desk and work on few things with out wanting to scream. When I think about it, that is how I’m at work………..when things are organized, it feels like I have everything in control and can take whatever comes my way, but when things are all over, no sense of order or game plan………..gggrrrrr……I so want to hurt whoever gets in my way of getting back on track.
So I was able to get a few things taken care of and get some of thoughts together for game planning. I love to plan and organize……it makes me feel as if I can handle everything.
Well, it is another early night…..in fact I should’ve been in bed by now, 5am comes quick.

Fun, fun………sitting in the dark. Thank god I had Harold pick up the wireless cards before we headed to South Beach. They sure come in handy when the power goes……grin Now if I would only get around to getting a back battery for the laptop. Working online drains the battery real fast, so this entry will be a short one.
I had to work early today………icks… I actually don’t mind very much, except I didn’t sleep worth a damn last night. I think it was the combination of our sleeping patterns getting messed up this past week, stress and the caffeine from the fabulous chocolate dessert from OutBack that I finished off late that night (not the wisest decision), so the PM I took didn’t have a chance…….
I had to handle some things for the online store today as soon as I got home. I still didn’t get as much done since I was handling that. But I did get a few items added to the store…….grin That felt good.
Right now, we are missing Scrubs………that so SUCKS!!!!
Damn, my battery level just dropped big time, so I’m going to post this and use the time offline to get a few things cleaned up around here. At least be productive. =)
