I’ve been busy as hell with work. I did get my tree done Sunday. It took me 3 & half hours before and after work, but it is done. =) Well……….I discovered that I forget the candy canes. So I had to pick some up and add them to the tree……..grin You can never have too much. But I do think next year (if we are in Portland), I’m going to get the real thing. I love the smell of pine.

Today we got some work done and I got all of our holiday cards done!!! Yes, I had about a hundred of them. Just need to get a few more seals for the envelopes and the stamps, I should have them mailed out by Tuesday. So that is cool.

I got most of my shopping done. Just need to figure out my folks and what to order the kids. I’m pretty proud on what we have gotten done on that so far are that front. =)

Now I just need to get myself focused back on to my emails and then on to receipts. I’ve done pretty good on keeping up most of the year on the receipts, but I’ve let it go the last 2 months. =(

We just got back from the beach. We had hoped to be able to see the shuttle launch, but they scrubbed it. =( We’ve never seen a night time one and even though we didn’t think it would happen we had to try.

I have to go into work in the next hour. =( icks All I want to do is to take a nap. =)

I did get a few things done today, so I am pleased. I got the shower scrubbed, got my Xmas cards out so I can start on them (as soon as I find some of the addresses I lost…..gggrrr), and got my Xmas tree stuff out with Harold’s help. =)

So tomorrow is my late uncle Rod’s birthday and I make it a point to put up our tree on his day. My mother does the same. Just our small way of remembering him.

I know it as been a while since a true update on what has been going on. Well after Harold left I ended up working a lot of hours until I posted that I was still alive.

I had planned on using my 2 days off to write some posts and do some work. But by Monday, while at work I hit the brick wall. I was so tired and then turn around the holidays were around the corner and I was missing my family and Harold wasn’t home. So I ended up in a funk. =(

I did call and wish my dad a happy birthday on the 21st. I miss pestering him.

I spent my days off reading and hoping that Harold would actually get some time to call and chat. He was so extremely busy that we didn’t get that until Wednesday night. =( I finally got out of my funk just before I chatted with him Wednesday when I called Sandi and vented. So between him and her it helped.

I know if it wasn’t for the holidays, I wouldn’t have had such a hard time. But I’ve always had good memories with my family during the holidays and then not having Harold, it really bothered me. If he had the trip in March area, I would’ve just found things that needed to be worked on.

I picked Harold up from the airport Saturday. He got in an hour earlier then we expected so I didn’t have all my make up on and almost missed his call! Icks! I got over there ASAP and he was waiting.

Unfortunately I had to head to work for the evening. Today was our 1st day off together since he left. I had made sure I got his birthday off………grin

I gave him his presents this morning. I had gotten him a new dvd player, new Oakley’s & an strawberry ice cream cake. =)

We went and saw the new James Bond. We were impressed with it. It had the harder edge that it has been missing and didn’t depend on all the gadgets (even though we missed Q).

Haorld wanted to try a local Japanese Steakhouse. It was good. =) I even tried some hot sake. When we got home we hit the desks and did some work.

Right now we are chilling out and watching the Packers play @ the Seahawks. Monday Night Football hasn’t been the same since it switched networks. The commentary sucks. =(

All in all it has been a good day. =)
