STRESS! STRESS! STRESS!

I’m ok…. Really I am…. I AM DANGIT NOW LET IT GO!!!! Sheesh….

Been pretty nutty here this past week, spent a few hours cleaning the house Sunday due to all the dust from the construction site which I notice today didn’t matter and was just time wasted so we get to do that again.

And now we have to plan on finding a new place to live of course, but I have too much on my plate this week so I will worry about that next week.

I got a nice crunch bench this week, got it online, I tried to get the same thing at a local sports store, but when I asked guy #1 who was working there where I go to get the box, he looked around, asked guy #2 who said they was out as he walked away and then guy #1 looked at me and said “we are out” and quickly walked away so I was standing there dumbfounded….

I go to the front desk and asked for a manager and sure enough…. Turned out to be guy #1… so I laughed and told him what I thought of his customer service and that I would not be back which turned out for the best since I found the exact same thing for $30 cheaper including shipping online

Ho hum…. Not much else to add.

Weekend Over

Well, the weekend is over. =( I don’t get many weekends off. Not that it really matters since I’d rather have my days off together during the week during the off season of football. We don’t go out much during the weekend cuz we don’t like dealing with all the people and mostly the kids that are out of school.

I just don’t feel like getting back into the grind at work today……….starting with putting make up on. That can be annoying sometimes……..lol

I really should get something done before heading to work and I may try, but I doubt that I will. I’m just rambling right now, so I’ll close this.

Sunday Off

We finally got some rain last night………..more like around 6am this morning… It was a hell of thunderstorm……the windows where rattling with the thunder. But that is okay, didn’t take long to go back to sleep after making my normal run to the bathroom and unplugging the pcs to protect them………surge protectors are no guarntee…….learned that the hard way.

We really need the rain, been 40days since that last one. We had another brush fire at the park 2 miles away. It started on the other side of a 4 lane road and jumped the road and ignited the park. Jackie lives near where it started and it almost got a gas station and the nail saloon where I go. This time instead of 100 acres it got 250 acres. Of the 3.5 mile ride to work, I follow about 2.5 miles of sidewalk the runs along side the park. Most of that area is now gone ……..it is going to be a weird ride.

Since it did rain and it will cut down the dirt/dust that blows, we attacked the floors. We don’t know how long it will last but it is nice to have clean floors.

I did help Harold with some of work that he has been working on. That was long, still have a lot to do, but made a good dent.

Saturday Off

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. It is my weekend off and I have been a bum. =) I believe I’ve earned it. There is nothing like leaving work on Friday and being made to feel that what you got done wasn’t enough. =(

I spent the day between laying out and jumping into the pool. Although I did do laundry, paid some bills and filed/paid our taxes. So it wasn’t a complete day without work. I did rebuild some of my music library so I know have something to listen to. Tomorrow is suppose to rain (thankfully………we need it bad) so I’m going to vacum & mop up the house. I hope to get motivated enough to help Harold on some things that we need to get done.

If you have never seen BullShit! with Penn & Teller, you need to. It is great! Talk about knocking down illogical arguements that are used to justify intolerance, hate and urban myths!

For great political commentary and debate, you have got to watch Bill Maher! This past week featured “actor Ben Affleck, White House correspondent Bill Sammon, and Sen. Joe Biden. ” Both Torn & I were impressed with Sen. Joe Biden’s straight responses and his knowlegde of issues. He is going to run for President. He sounds like someone we would like to check out.

I’m Back!

Harold worked hard, but he got my laptop back together. I got the majority of my settings taken care of. Luckily, we had back ups from Oct & Dec. Ironically I was planning on backing up everything this weekend, cuz I had a gut a feeling that something was going to happen. I had all my financial stuff backed up a day earlier, but I didn’t have my emails done and a few key things. The rest I had on the server.

Unfortunately, I did lose Angi’s email that I didn’t want to lose. I’m hoping that she sees my blog and email me.

The email that I believed that I got the virus from, hasn’t caused anyone else any problems. =( I don’t get it, all I know is when I clicked on that email that is when my laptop started acting funny…..wacky.

We are in the process of moving servers, so once we get that done I’ll probably back up everything again.

As you saw from Harold’s post, we may be moving again. =( That sucks. I really don’t want to have to pack again. I didn’t want to move until it was out of state. But we’ll survive as we always do.

I’ve gotten to the point at work, where I’m just going in, doing my job and not stress. Anything that goes wrong falls to my boss, so I’m not going to give myself an ucler over it. I have too much other stuff in my life for that………lol
