Christmas birthdays take the cake

Morgan says being born on Christmas Day wasn’t a horrible thing. Getting buried by presents every Dec. 25 more than compensated for those long dry spells the rest of the year.

“I think if you were born between Dec. 26 and Dec. 30, that would be a lot worse,” Morgan says. “Because by then, everybody’s tired.”

**This is so true for Dec. 26th. Unlike this Morgan……I never got extra presents unless it was from my folks. Most folks would make my Christmas present my birthday present and to top that off, it was normally no better or cheaper…..it was annoying to even get people to remember my birthday.

Done With Shopping!

I finally got my new phone the other day. They couldn’t get blue like my other one, they did have green. But for some old reason it didn’t come with the battery. So now I have a blue battery on a green phone. You really can’t tell too much since they are both dark, but since I know that is it different I notice it & it drives me batty………lol But then I’m weird that way. I’m suppose to be getting the matching battery soon.

I’ve been downloading ringers since they couldn’t do that at sprint. At least I have a variety now, otherwise I get bored with them. I did get litters & laundry done today. That is about it. =)

I did finish all my Xmas stuff today. I sent my sister a money order, that is about all you can do when they are in prison.

Now all we have to do is to get through the holidays & we’ll be all good. I called Dad, they got our packages today so that is one less thing to worry about. Kids passed the phone around among each other, but as loud and as quickly as they talk, I didn’t understand a word that they said…..lol

I’ll be leaving for work in a few. So I best finish getting ready. =)

Holiday Stress

I can’t wait for the holidays are over at work. We had one guy we hired, that we thought was doing good & was fitting in, turn around and not show up. =( That sucked, but we were dealing with it…..but today another person we hired quit cause of family, couldn’t even finish out the week.

Our DM, Darryl, says hire a few more for the holidays…..but it has gotten so much busier that Cheryl & I don’t feel that it would be worth it…especially with only 2 weeks left. They are going to learn under the worst conditions and scare them off. Besides if we get the 4th manager that they want us to have, we won’t have the payroll. So why? I don’t know.

On top of that we hve our Regional Vice-President showing up tomorrow….nothing like that added stress.

My phone is now only good for receiving calls (no voice mails) and for using it as a light in the truck….ggrrrr NONE of my buttons are working……..I so can’t wait for them to get my new phone in….I should not have to keep using Harold’s & work’s phone to call anyone…….ggrrr At least they are replacing it. =)

It was my day off for the week. Harold & I went and shipped out the packages to mom & dad for the kids. We sent of a total of 4 packages. as long as they get them by the end of the week I’ll be happy. =)

I did end up having to drop off something at work & had to do a few things while I’m there……which took time away from my orginal goal today which was re-entering all the info I lost from my quick books. =( I barely made a nipple into the receipts that need to be done. I’m so not moviated for this.

I did get the majority of it set up when it comes to my chart of accounts, so that was something. I did print it out so I have my set up in hard copy, just incase something like this happens again…..fingers crossed that it doesn’t…

Mom has been sending me pics through her share page through HP, it is really cool. She sent me some pics of the kids, beautiful fall colors (including the bug on the windshield) & some snow. =)

Alright, I need to get back to my receipts since I need to head to bed early tonight.

Son of a B******!!

I go to start working on some of our receipts & guess what!?! My quickbooks file is completely gone!!

I had (or so I thought) backed it up before we reformatted my pc……well, the SOB is not there, it is a blank disc! So instead of having 2 months worth of stuff to do, I have a whole year….on top of that I lost all my previous years (at least I have the hard copies of those reports, along with the receipts, this our taxes). On the icing on the cake, I now I have to totally reset up my quickbooks, all my expenses, my income, my chart of accounts……….it is now a f***** mess!!

I am so pissed at myself, I just want to hit something!! I don’t have time to do this crap, not at this time of year……

So now, once I calm down, I’m going to have to spend all my time off working on this crap & I MAY, MAY get it done by Dec 31st…..
