We changed our drivers license address’s to “Continuos Travelers” back in November. It keeps our “home” here in Oregon for voting and taxes etc.

We bought Ackbar in December and the dealer finally got the registration for Ackbar this week and took the required paperwork to the DMV and got our plates. Somewhere along the line, our street address was added to Ackbar’s registration which was processed 2 days ago.

Today I get a letter from the OR DMV informing me the state of Oregon has changed my address from “Continuos Travelers” back to our current street address that we do not own, and will no longer be living at, after more 19 days.

So we got to go back to the DMV once again. Lucky for us, we got the same guy we have dealt with every single time we have had to go to the DMV for the past 5 years. OR DMV is by far the best we ever dealt with. We walked in as they was serving #271 and we was #274.

But still, not want I wanted to do today.

Just discovered a “great idea” may not work after all. We wanted to put a magnetic strip all around the slide out edge so we can use our refrigerator magnets as decoration of our travels.

We bought a 50′ x 4″ roll of stripping and just tested some magnets and none “stuck” much at all. As in, if we hit any bump, we would have to pick up 100+ magnets… We are contacting the supplier asking them what they suggest we can do.

Not cool at all.

Since this blog is pretty much about the travels of Pauline and I since 1993, we wanted to add, over the course of time, pictures and videos of our early expeditions. This will not be accomplished by any logical order, whatever gallery is ready will be posted by the dates it occurred on, or at least as close to the original dates as we can remember.
