I still haven’t done my letter writing that I need to do……….and didn’t touch the work schedule, like I needed to. =( But I’ve been taking some “me” time here by doing some reading. Granted I’m actually rereading some Harry Potter books, but I think I’m just so impatient for the next book that I keep looking for things that I missed. I need to start reading all the other books that I haven’t read yet………..grin

Downloaded music for the first time. Way too many folks to choose from and I barely scratched the surface. I think I got nearly all the Yo Yo-Ma that there was. =)

We finally got some dates for when my folks and the kids are coming down! Now we can start planning the rest of our summer and their visit. Since I work out side of the house, Harold will have them about 70% of the time. Good thing we have a pool and they love to swim. =) Mom & Dad will drive them down, visit for a little while at the end of May and I’ll fly the kids back about the 2nd week of July.

As Harold posted, due to constuction not that far from us, the house has a continous layer of dirt. =( I keep wiping things down, my floors don’t looked liked I mopped them and my feet can’t seem to stay clean…..yuck! We don’t want to close the windows until it gets too hot, since air condition get old and we will be having it on soon enough. So for now we suffer. =(

I laid out briefly today. Didn’t think I got much sun, but I was mistaken…….lol My back is red and the back of my thighs are tender. I got some on the front, but no where the amount that I got on the back. That was cuz I was reading while laying on my stomach and when I laid on my back, I was just way too restless.

Harold will be taking in the truck tomorrow to get 2 new tires & a much needed alignment and outside of oil changes, hopefully that will be it for a long while. =)

Time for me to hit the hay, have to work early tomorrow.

ps……….yup, Harold has been post happy………grin

I had the weekend off. We ended up having some beautiful weather, sunny, highs 82-84 but breezy. Pool was a crisp 75-80, but we did jump in for some swim time. Harold is braver then I and then he makes fun of me on how and how long it takes me to get in………lol

It is days like this that I’m happy as hell that we have laptops with wireless connection. Cuz we set ourselves up outside in the patio and did our work there. I don’t know if it is mental, but when I’m at my desk for too long I start to get nausea. Working outside didn’t do that to me, but maybe it is cuz of the fresh air. It was nice to be able to do that.

We found out that we will be getting the kids by the end of May. Dad needs to get surgery for his shoulder at the beginning of June and we were wanting to get the kids about then so mom & dad could have a kid free anniversary. So we’ll get them just a little bit earlier so dad doesn’t have to stress his recovery time. We’re thinking that we may have them for about 6 weeks or so. Waiting on mom to figure out the dates for us.

Aaaggg………….I don’t want to go to work tomorrow……….lol

I finally got my new phone the other day. They couldn’t get blue like my other one, they did have green. But for some old reason it didn’t come with the battery. So now I have a blue battery on a green phone. You really can’t tell too much since they are both dark, but since I know that is it different I notice it & it drives me batty………lol But then I’m weird that way. I’m suppose to be getting the matching battery soon.

I’ve been downloading ringers since they couldn’t do that at sprint. At least I have a variety now, otherwise I get bored with them. I did get litters & laundry done today. That is about it. =)

I did finish all my Xmas stuff today. I sent my sister a money order, that is about all you can do when they are in prison.

Now all we have to do is to get through the holidays & we’ll be all good. I called Dad, they got our packages today so that is one less thing to worry about. Kids passed the phone around among each other, but as loud and as quickly as they talk, I didn’t understand a word that they said…..lol

I’ll be leaving for work in a few. So I best finish getting ready. =)

I made sure I had today off from work. I know Harold doesn’t really care that it is his birthday but I like to try and do something special for him. So I got him the Calvin & Hobbes collection. Nothing much, but I try in small ways to let him know how I feel. =) I also stopped and got him a cookies & cream ice cream cake.

We spent the day being bums in front of the TV. I did start the laundry………not sure if I’m going to get around to putting it away……grin

I did get all of our xmas cards signed and sealed, now if I had only remembered to have brought the stamps the other day…….lol That is the only thing left for me to get and then they are out the door. =)

I also got the kids’ presents wrapped. Still need to get one more for Heather, what we got her is just too young for her so I’ll be returning that. Once we get that, we can get them shipped.

I took pictures of the house today so I can send them to my family to show how far it has come since we moved here. Just need to get them up. =)

We are planning on seeing the Harry Potter movie this Friday & then I’ll be putting our tree up. I don’t believe in putting my tree up until it is December.

I’ve been busy at work. Between Cheryl being off for a week and having big wigs scheduled to be here Monday, so I’ve been trying to get things done. It wasn’t bad, weirdly, in fact I enjoy the challenge of keeping things together.

It has been warm until just a few hours ago. They have been predicting a cold front for the last few days but it just hadn’t moved until today. It has been nice to have the cool. We are able to have our windows open & sleep without the air! I love that. =)

But it now looks like we may have another storm headed our way : Gamma It is November already!! The season for hurricanes is suppose to be over!! But then so is tornado season in the Midwest. =( Those are scary.

Last week we noticed that our dryer was no longer heating. =( That was not good, it is only about 5-6yrs old. We were going to get a repair guy out here, but after looking a few things up online we decided to try it ourself. We ordered a fuse & it got here yesterday. Harold got it in & it now works! Amazing how much better I feel knowing that we have a working dryer again. =)

Today was my day off. Heather had sent us a “Flat Stanley” from her 3rd grade class. It is a paper doll that they mail out to learn about new places when you send them back. So I sent off a post card to her class from “Stanley” and we went to the beach to take pictures (which was Uncle Harold’s idea). I made Stanley a pair of shorts and Harold made him some sunglasses and we built a small sand castle to put Stanley on. Harold was making fun of me, saying that it was the saddest sand castle he has ever seen! But I’ve never made one before……..lol I’m waiting until next week to send Stanley back with the pictures cuz I want the post card to get there before he does. =)

I’ve been working on the redesign of my site. It is taking a bit more time that I thought it would, but right now we have the time before we switch servers. So I’m going to get to work on that this evening & tomorrow I’m going to attack our receipts since they are stacking up.
