I have Alabama and Florida on, and a ‘Bama WR just broke his leg, it was worse then watching Joe Thiesman’s leg, CBS replayed it once after they realized how bad it really was….

Damn what a quick year this has been, seems like a month ago was Jan 1. No big plans this weekend other then Purdue/Notre Dame on ESPN tomorrow night, first time I remember it was not on ABC, but they say the night game is the “feature game†and if that is the case then why is “Gameday†at the USC/ASU game when everyone knows USC will win by 28 at least and the Purdue will only win by 7 to 10? DAMN YOU LEE AND KIRK! DAMN YOU BOTH TO HELL!

“Brownie†resigned today…shocking. CNN said the White House wanted to stress that he was not fired, so once more they will never admit they were wrong. Some guy with a shit load of experience in emergency management has been appointed… wow, what an Idea, getting people who know something about the job to do the job…
First Sunday of football was yesterday, and from what I can tell I took it in the rear on most of my FFL’s and the few pools I was in, no way in heck can the 49ers beat the Rams… and that was just one of many “what the f***†‘s that happen yesterday, strangest opening day I ever remember.

Purdue wins 49-24 over Akron, next week will be a tough one, @ AZ who is said to have a really good defense, hopefully it will be on TV, I had to rely on ESPN gamecast to get a “live†update and it messed up a few times, one sec it was 42-24 and then it was 28-7 so I was pretty happy. Notre Dame dominated Michigan today, what a joke the “mighty†UM D was, it was suppose to be dominate, and their offense is just plain bad, Henne needs to be replaced, a kid who went to the same school as I did is the 3rd QB for UM, he was “Mr. Indiana†in Football and Baseball, so the kid is athletic, hopefully he will get his chance.
We have Notre Dame in 3 weeks, we have won the last 3 years and I so want #3 in a row this year. Purdue is said to have a weak schedule with no Michigan or Ohio State, but I do not think any schedule in the Big Ten is ever weak. I am still not convinced ND is that good, Pitt was/is awful, and UM isn’t much better, I do think ND has a incredible Defense, but then, so do we.
We are watching Ohio State and Texas, go Buckeyes! I hate Texas…. So far 22-16 OSU, but a lot of game left.
Maryanne and Joel are coming down for a BBQ and NFL tomorrow, I’m looking forward to it, been a while since we seen them, it will be a beautiful day, Sunday Football, … what more could I ask?

The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A death. What’s that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you’re too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work. You work forty years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alchohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last nine months warm, happy, and floating?you finish off as pleasure.
