• Just attempted my making of potato salad…..1st, I over did the potatoes by about 5min…2nd, never follow the fancy directions….lol #
• Cook Illustrated mag sent me a sample to see if I would subscribe and had a potato salad recipe in there…. #
• Now compare to all the others I've looked at the biggest difference is that is called to "toss" the cooked potatoes in white vinegar. #
• Big mistake, now it has a tang that I do not care for, I didn't think it would be much difference to my mom putting in pickle juice… #
• It is a bigger difference then you would think……I love basic mustard potato salad and this was not it. #
• So we'll eat this up and I'll try again once we are done with it…..contact family for their recipes…. #
