I got tired of the office…………..been in there all day and I had to just get out of there. I had wanted to work on the patio but all that I wanted to work on was on my external and I’m not dragging that out there. I did get some time in the pool.

Thankfully the only errand I had was to the bank, but I still didn’t want to do that. My next day off is nothing but doctor appointments and that sucks.

I started to work on a bunch of pictures that I haven’t posted for my family. I started to organize it on my laptop. The problem is there are some pictures that I made galleries of and posted the links on my blog, but I never updated on the web pages, so now I need to figure out what I have. I’ve also been neglectful of my external. When I made the galleries, I put them on the server but never actually updated it on my external……doh!

So once Harold is done with his uploading & I’m done making my galleries, I’m just going to totally download everything from the server. Then instead of putting the pictures on my hard drive, I’ll just use my external like I should’ve been. I know it started when Harold and I were sharing an external, because I hated trying to get time to use since he needed to use it all the time. Since I have my own, it really shouldn’t be an issue. But damn it is a mess right now…..

Just a few observations & vents, I know that my grammar and spelling isn’t always correct, but I can make myself be understood pretty well. What I don’t get is people who write on boards in extreme street slang……it isn’t even English. I try to read their posts and my head hurts and I want to just slap them and scream “speak common English you sound like an idiot!” And they are people from the US, not folks who English is a second language to them. Hell, people who are trying and struggling to learn English do a hell lot better job on being understood then the morons with the street slang.

Then there are the morons who do not under the concept of a paragraph….holy cow! My head spins. It is to the point that I skip any of their writings. Who knows, maybe they have something insightful to say but you won’t know it by the way they compose it. It is horrible.

I try to be understanding, that not everyone has been lucky in their education and not be a “snob” about it, but damn this is basic stuff an 8th grader would know. You don’t have to have a college education or even a HS education for those basics. Everytime I see posts that are either nothing but street slang or a long one with no paragraphs, I’m so tempted to post and say “have you ever heard of English or paragraphs, you sound like a moron?!?”

On to other things, it is getting harder and harder to head into work when I only get 2 days off and that I don’t have the responsibilities that I had ownership of.  But that will be changing here in less then 2 weeks.  Hell, I’ll be off for 10days because of my feet……..I’ll probably be going crazy by the time I start back.  But I think I’m moving into “it’s time to move on” stage.  Yet, I still worry about my store.
Lets see if I can get anything else done…….not…time to chill.

Today started with the foot doctor. It is official, I’m getting surgery to help my ligament. We are doing both feet so it is taken care of before we move and under my works insurance. I’m so not looking forward to going through with it, but I’m looking forward to getting this over with. Of course, it is not going to be at the same place as Harold’s. So I need to make sure that it is all in network….and figure out where the hell we are going, since we have lived here for 3 yrs, never had a need for a hospital…..yada, yada…….

I did get my nails and toes done. I wanted to enjoy them while I can. I have my pre-op next Monday and I’ll find out if I can keep my nails for the surgery. I know that I will need to remove my polish from my toes so they keep an eye on my oxygen level. I had them do a blue/purple/white marble thing. Looks really cool.

I got some work done. No where as much as I should. I just couldn’t get my mind on it.

But Harold and I did take some time for ourselves and jumped into the pool. It felt good to be floating around the pool for little while and feel the sun.

Hopefully the only place that I need to go to tomorrow is the bank……..I just want to do my thing and enjoy the fresh air…….maybe a bike ride if we get up early enough……I can still do that without it hurting my feet too much…..we’ll see.

With the hotter temps I’ve been craving a lot of veggies…….especially tomatoes….so I picked me up some cherry ones….mmm…tasty, between those and the pepperonici……

I hope all the father’s out there had a great Father’s Day.  I had sent my dad flowers and called him today.  It was a good conversation.

Then it was off to work.  It was a very busy day with projects.  I like it when I’m kept busy, plus it was the kind of project that I enjoy doing.

What is it about pepperonicinc peppers? Damn, when I have one I want to eat the whole damn jar.  Even though it makes my nose run, which I hate.  They are just addicting.  On the plus side it is only 10 calories per 4 of them and no carbs, but they are high in sodium.  I don’t add salt to 99% of my food, but so many foods you get from the store have more then most folks are aware of since they are used as preservatives.  So it something to be aware of when trying to balance out my eating habits.  I just wish I didn’t have a sweet tooth that gets in the way.

I have the next 2 days off.  Tomorrow starts with the doctor.  I can find out what is going on with my foot………I just want it to be over………it is so annoying.  Then I need to my nails done.

I hope to be able to get some work done and spend some time in the pool and sun.  We’ll see.

Ever since the storms Tues/Wed we were having issues staying online. Harold called our internet provider and they got out here yesterday, changed out our modem and checked a few other things. Whatever else they did, they got it going. It was really starting to piss us off…..gggrrr

I went back to work yesterday, it was great to see everyone and catch up. What was weird was that even though I didn’t do very much, it exhausted me when I came home. I did finally get to meet our new regional boss. I guess, I’m infamous at home office with all my reports when I come across issues…….grin He said it with a smile so it was a good thing. I really like him, a lot better then one of the others we’ve had. And it was really cool to see an updated report and see that he had them use one of my ideas for it. That just made my day……….grin

Looks like I was missed……..at least for the laughter…..grin

But I had so much to do when I got home……a ton of stuff. Every two weeks I have a bunch of things that I need to do for the online accounting, which wouldn’t be that much of thing if I didn’t have the day job or it landed on my day off. But doing it around work shifts is a whole other matter. I did get a great portion of it done last night and had spent my days off prepping for it……thankfully, otherwise I would be really struggling tonight, but I ended up staying up later then I should have when having to work in the morning. On the plus side, I get to sleep in before going in tomorrow. =)

I did get to the dentist……….it is a great relief to get my crown in. At least I don’t have to worry about shattering my tooth. I have my foot doctor Monday and I’m just going to have the surgery. I’m tired of the meds and the side effects and I want to be able to exercise without crying. I did get Harold and I appointments for the eye doctor. I haven’t had an exam in a couple of years and Harold since he got out of the Navy (not good). So once we get that done, I will feel much better. =)

I sent my dad some flowers for daddy’s day. =) I forgot it was for this week, I was thinking it was next Sunday the 24th…..don’t ask me why. I sent him a card, but it won’t get there until Monday/Tuesday area.

I think I’m going to jump into the shower.
