Reggie has been getting more rats in his fur, so for the last few days I have been taking the trimmer to him getting as much as I can and today I took the scissors to his belly and trimmed a good 1†off his fur there and then more trimmer work, he looks “ragged†but in a week he will look much better…. Except that one spot…. Opps… my bad. I then gave him a bath, it has been 6 months or so since his last bath, he didn’t appreciate this one at all, but he looks and smells much better. Toni was leaving for work and told me to give Alexis a bath as well… it has been 12+ years since her last bath… so yeah, this went real well. She was “ok†until I started to rinse her off then it was the end of the world for her. I dried her off and she showed me love by grabbing the back of my neck with both paws… actually claws… Yep… that hurt. So I towel dried them as much as I could, both pretty much calmed down when they got back on the floor, and Alexis pretty much went straight for the food… weird cat. Both have been trying to lay on my lap, Reggie got on and then bolted, Alexis came on and stayed for a good 30 mins then left and is now back… I had taken my own shower after I was done with her and my clean shorts are now damp and furry…. Stupid cats.

Just chilling out here at the Hilton, finally have a moment for a quick post.
If you saw Harold’s post you would see that today is our 10th Wedding Anniversary. =) He got me a beautiful white gold blue topaz and earring set. It was what I wanted, the earrings was a surprise. It was the 1st time I every asked for jewelry, felt a little guilty about it, since he has gotten me beautiful stuff through the years without asking. But I’ve always wanted a blue topaz. =)
I got him his Payton Manning authentic jersey. It looks good.

Morning, today is Pauline’s and my 10th anniversary, so we are just waking up and getting ready for our day.
We just exchanged gifts; I got her a white gold ring with blue topazes and a matching pair of earrings. She got me an authentic Peyton Manning Indianapolis Colts white jersey.
We got a suite at the Hilton on the beach today, so we going to head over to our favorite Irish pub for lunch and then to the suite where we both plan to chill out.
I love my life.

It was a productive day off, even though I got up late….10ish. Which is late.
I’ve been giving myself time to chill out and read at night, trying to get back into the little things in life that I enjoy and miss. The side effect of the night reading, is later nights. But it has been helping me to relax and sleep. I’m currently re-reading my HP (yes, I’m a fanatic about reading those), to get my mind ready for the new & last book. Plus with the movie coming out, I like to re-read the book so I can fill in everything that they can’t fit into the movie. I’m on the book 6, about done with that. Then I’m debating on what I should read next. I’m behind on reading my Ms. & Bitch magazines, but then I have a ton of political books…..we will see.
I got the house detailed vacuumed, mopped, and the throw carpets washed, also changed the bed sheets and did some laundry. Work wise, I got things caught up with the online store, getting things settled with suppliers and clients, balancing the books. At least I can see my desk again……that is so annoying, stresses me out when it is a mess.
I did get time to balance my own checkbooks….I think they are done. =) But unfortunately, I didn’t get to our receipts. =( I’m not pleased by that at all. They are starting to pile up………ggrrrr
I have tomorrow off, but there is no way to get those done. We’ve booked a room on the beach and was planning having some time to ourselves.
I did workout some today. Went to use our elliptical and after 5 minutes, but one foot was hurting bad. I’m so pissed by that, because I was doing good, I had my music in that is always great for working out to. So I went to the living room, put my yoga mat down, did some stretches and leg lifts. By this time, I had worked up hell of a sweat, but was I able to go and enjoy our pool……..nope! =( The pool guy comes on Wednesdays and, of course, he is always late……..so I don’t get to enjoy it. It kind of pisses me off.
I’m hoping that when I step down that I’m able to have a set schedule. I’m asking for 4 days only (my 3 days off together) about 9hrs, since I’ll be an hourly again….icks…..I’m so not use to clocking in and out, did it only for 4 months about 3 yrs ago and that was the 1st time since 1996.
I have to get up at a decent time tomorrow, so I’m going to close.
