I hope everyone is having a good holiday weekend.  I’ve been working. Today went well at work today.  That was nice. =)

Just don’t forget the real reason behind the holiday as you go out and visit with friends and family.   Even if you don’t agree with war, don’t ever forget that this country is where it is today through sacrifice and the hard work for our military.  Freedom is paid with the blood of those willing to stand up for it.

‘Little House’ still resonates after 75 years

**Kind of a great reminder of the hardworking spirit that helped to make this country.  The question is, why doesn’t it seem like we don’t have it anymore?

Either way, I loved reading this series of books.  Hell, I’m 33 and still like to stop and read them.

“You just lost my vote”.

This was the email I just sent to Joe Biden.

I was VERY interested in his campaign for 2008, but his vote “Yes” on the Irak war bill was the straw that broke the camels back for me. I know it was a no win situation, but you know what? I don’t care anymore; I am sick of the fucking pussies who bitch and cry about the war and then fold like a map when it comes down to it.

Joe, you are just as bad as George, you say one thing, and you do another. I have watched you since last year when you was on Bill Marh and he asked you, “are you going to run in 2008” and without blinking you said “Yes”. Nothing more, no “Yes but….” Nothing else was needed, you just said “Yes”. That REALLY impressed me and made me take notice, so I have been rooting for you for a long time and planned to send you money soon, but this approval of George’s tactics has showed me you are just like the rest.

Obama, Clinton and Dodd all voted “NO” and Edwards is also against it.

Right now I am rooting for Edwards, and I think an Edwards/Obama ticket sounds incredible.

Clinton scares me, not the woman thing at all, but the dynasty thing, There has been a Bush or Clinton in office since 1980, that is fucking scary, but if it came down to it and Clinton was the dems choice I would vote for her, but I would not like it.

Busy Day Off

It has been a busy day, online wise.  I stayed up much later then I have in a while, but did better on getting up then I thought I would.  I usually take half of a tab of night time tynel allergy meds but I’m trying not to, because it is so hard to wake up in the morning.  It makes me feel so out of it.

Well, when I got up this morning I had to deal with the online store issues.  Nothing major, just time consuming and a bunch of little stuff that piles up and messes with you when trying to organize.

What was the most frustrating part was waiting on everyone else to get things taken care of……very annoying.

In the late afternoon, I was just losing it.  So I went outside, did a little reading and just chilled for a bit.  Now I’m back to waiting on everyone…..yuck. But at least I have LOST to watch.  =)

And I hate you for that 😉

I just got screwed by tigerdirect big time. I bought a 1 terabyte hard drive last Thursday, it said it ships in 24 hours and here it is Tuesday and I still do not have it and it still has not be shipped. So I called 4 times in the last 2 days and today I am finally told they do not know what it will be shipped. So as I mentioned, nice false advertisement on their site “Ships in 24 hours” ha….

So I finally have had enough and tell the guy I want a refund, he says it will take 24-48 hours to complete, so I am ticked and asked to speak to a supervisor and I get “William, Sales manager” and I explain how unhappy I am since I have GREAT need to have this HD days ago, not days from now, so I am really screwed right now and days behind on work.

I mention the $1000’s I have spent there and asked why do I not get respected enough to at least get a email letting me know that the 24 hours will turn into a week and after all the $ I have spent with them and how I am being treated is total “bull shit” (exact words) He tells me don’t cuss, I asked “Why, what is the worse your going to do? Hang up on me?”

Shit… meet fan.

So this is where tigerdirect will never see another dime from me, I was a die hard loyal customer and as noted here, I have stood up for them and even promoted them to others, but NEVER again. Fuck you Tigerdirect and a big fuck you to “William, Sales manager” at tigerdirect, amazing how tough people are on the phone.

The best news is, I found the exact same thing, for $120 cheaper then TD has it for, so I bought it. So not only are they unprofessional and use false advertising, they are over priced.

Lazy Day

I took it easy today, even though I really shouldn’t have.  I got some work done out on the patio while trying to get some sun.  I even did a lap or two in the pool……it was still chilly feeling, but good.

I’m feeling guilty, I know I should’ve done more today, but I’m usually going, going, going around my job that I just didn’t want to do that much today……..that is sad.  All I know that I’m going to be freaking out about packing (more like the lack of packing) soon……

I did stop at the store today.  I felt like a BLT and didn’t have the LT…..I also picked my some training sports bras for my niece Heather.  My mom & sister got her some, but she wanted her aunt Pauline to get her some white ones to wear under her dresses.  It was strange looking at those little training bras, why the hell didn’t they have all those colors when I needed them.  I just had the boring white one that every girl had.  So her aunt, who lives in FL, is shipping training bras to her niece in Indiana……..the things you do for the ones you love, even the silly things.

Well, I need to pack up a few things to ship up to my folks.
