Well, I didn’t nearly as much done as I wanted to, in fact I barely got anything done. It didn’t help that my sinus have been acting up the last few days and the smoke from the fires sure in hell don’t help. So when they are acting up, I feel like I want to sleep cuz my head has that cotton ball feeling….yuck

I never got to lay out today. One of the neighbors had someone working on their roof and I sure don’t feel like giving them a show. It was also cloudy out. We were suppose to get very much needed some rain. We never did, but they did north of us where the fires are, so they got it where it was really needed. So we went shopping and got a few things for when my folks & the kids come down.

Since it was just a little overcast we did jump into the pool once the roof guys were gone. Of course the sun came out a few hours before sundown……….lol

It was a long day at work. But it was a productivity day. I had to go in early, which I like cuz I get to go home early and get a lot of things done without interruption. The only problem I had it that I woke up about 90min before I had to and spent that time in that semi-conscienous state where you are about to fall into the deep sleep but just don’t quiet make it. So I didn’t get a full rest.

When I got home Harold and I jumped into the pool. It felt good, enough though he was been sneaky and going after my feet under water. I did doze some on the floor while watching the news……..but I’m still yawning like crazy.

Tomorrow is trash day, so I really should be getting the litters done and trash out. Doesn’t help that my pillow sounds more inviting……….lol

But that was my day. =)

It is about 84F sunny and breezy out. Breezy is no fun while in the pool, but while sitting in the patio it is great.

I did spend some time laying out and jumping in the pool. But I think I did quite a bit yesterday that I was getting too restless for it today. It helped that Harold joined me today. He went and picked up another raft and we kept floating into each other…..lol

So I’m sitting here on the patio, enjoying the breeze, listening to some tunes, caught up my email and decided to move my compaq out here so I can clean it up for my dad. Well, deleting files, cookies, unstalling programs he doesn’t need was just taking way too long. And I know I would miss something. So I decided it would be easier to reformat it. I haven’t personally done a reformat in long while. Harold usually does it for me while I’m at work. So it is different. But the good thing is that I don’t have to install as many programs. Dad doesn’t need a program like dreamweaver and ftping.

In fact I better make a list of the things he needs…..lol I also need to see if dad would like my split key board, it was great on my carpal tunnel.

I helped Harold move the universal weight machine out of the spare room yesterday and into the garage. He has decided that we aren’t taking it with us when move out of state, since we don’t use it as much as we use to. So we are going to put it in the paper.

Now I have to clean up that room for my folks. We figured we’ll have the kids sleep in the office and give my folks that room. When it is just the kids, we put them in the spare. Now we just have to get the air mattress for them. =)

It has been nice to have the last 2 days off and been able to take it easy. I’m not looking forward to going into work tomorrow; I have to be there at 6am. The only good thing about that is I get off of work earlier and I love being able to get a lot done without clients coming in. It has been going better at work. I have my fingers crossed that it continues to do so.

There is only one problem with laying out, no matter how many times you jump into the pool you still have that greasy feeling from suntan lotion….yuck. I’ll be jumping into shower again today.

All in all, it was a selfishly relaxing weekend, even if I didn’t get all the things I wanted to get done. It was a weekend I sorely needed. =)
