Tourists told to leave Keys as Dennis nears

**Hurricane season is starting earlier, thankfully we are on the other side of Florida for this one.

Been a long day at work. We had our big bosses stop in & we did really good. So I’m very happy that our work has paid off.

Harold got the spare bath all taken care of, now I can get it cleaned up tomorrow. Tomorrow is my last day off before I head back to Indiana for the wedding so I have to get a lot done around here and start on some of my packing. But right now I’m going to chill out, I’ve earned it.

Boy, I haven’t been on here as much. Seems like time has been flying by like crazy.

I spent the weekend working, a lot …..we have big bosses coming by tomorrow so we worked hard on getting shipment out, get some of the overstock done & attack voids.

I tried to get a few things done around the house, getting the closets set up, bedroom & my part of the office…..especially laundry. Harold has gotten a lot done around here….lots of yard work, moving the couch into the living room, my china cabinet & getting most of the kitchen set up…..fighting with the spare bath.

Unfortunately due the state of mess we were in, I told mom not to stop by. =( I was so looking forward to them being here & the kids playing in the pool, but there was just no way. Timing was horrible. I hope that they have a long weekend later this year for them to come down.

We spent yesterday waiting around for the guy to come by and finish the kitchen counters. He didn’t get here until like 7pm. He is more of a night owl which is fine, just wish we knew that he was going to be that late so we could’ve gotten other things done. The counters look good, he just needs to get us a new oven hood & a piece of piping for under the one side of the sink (we have a new sink……grin). The house is coming together & starting to look good. Now they just need to finish the trim & put the some screens up & we may paint a few walls.

I really wanted to lay out but didn’t know if I had the time, I don’t like laying out when other folks are here.

I have to finish getting ready for work. =)

Just a quick note to say hi. I’ve just been crazy as all heck between work & trying to find time to help Harold with the unpacking and getting things set up. We have the bedroom set up, most of the office, & the only thing really left is the unpacking my china cabinet in dinning room.

I’m up later then I should be since I have to work early in the morning, so I’m going to call it a night.

Alright, after an extremely long weekend we are moved in & the old place is ready for the walk through.

We had done really good Sunday getting loads of stuff over after I had gotten off of work. It made Monday so much easier truck wise. We were even able to get the truck turned in a few hours earlier so one of us could be at the house for the cable guy.

Well, when we turned in the truck it became a huge hassle over the diesel fuel and it a very long story. Lets just say, we will never be using them again. And because of this we missed the cable guy. =( Luckly for us, he was nice enough to come back & was very helpful and dropped the lines where we wanted them.

Harold started to get the office some what together, I got the master bath & bedroom some what together. In the end it was an extremely exhausting day Monday where we passed out at the end.

Tuesday they started to rip out the old wood floor, so between one of us staying here and the other going back to the old place we got everything over here & started to get this organized. Unfortunately I had to head to work so I didn’t get as far as I wanted to. I was not mentally into work so it took me a bit to get into work mode.

Luckily I had today off so I finished off the old place. Harold got a good start on it for me by taking care of the vacumming. So I got the bathrooms & the kitchen done while the rug steam cleaners got the carpets done & the boy for the lawn. So there is nothing she can say about not being done for the walk through tomorrow.

Once I got done there, we some what organized our kitchen stuff & I got all of the bedroom stuff unpacked. We can’t do too much with the kitchen since they are tearing out the old beaten up cabinets and putting new ones in tomorrow. They are also putting in a new wood floor then. Once those areas are done then we can truely unpack.

Right now my brain is numb from all the stuff we have been doing……..lol
