I actually got something done today. I finished off the 2-3 months worth of receipts that had piled up. It wasn’t too bad but it could’ve easily gotten worse. I did catch up on emails yesterday….already have another pile starting….lol

I did want to start on letter writing and packing. But at least I got something done if not that.

I don’t remember if I told you, but we have a bird’s nest in one of our bushes. Harold spotted it the other day & there are 4 blue eggs with brown specks on it. He looked up the bird he saw that it was a blue jay.

Why am I telling you this, well this afternoon our youngest cat (Reggie) was at our screen door & the male blue jay was there and yelling at my cat. His nest is around the corner on the other side of the house……..no where near the front door where Reggie was at, but boy he was squaking at him loud! It was funny, Reggie just couched down and watched him until he flew way.

Talked to my folks the other day. It was great to catch up on the kids. I miss them.

We watched the remastered versions of the Star Wars IV-VI. Getting ready for when III is released. =) I love the movies but I don’t follow all the hype about it so I didn’t know that they added the younger verison of Anakin to the final scene of the Return of the Jedi when they showed the “ghosts” of Yoda & Obe Won (sp). It was wierd just a few scenes before that I was thinking how cool it would be for them to change the “ghost” to the yonger version before he changed to the dark side and that would be a perfect way to tie into the recent movies. Not only that, why show the version of him when he was with the dark side since he had gone back to the true Jedi force? So it made perfect sense to me. =)

I have to work early in the morning so I’ll be getting ready for bed here soon. I took a PM and now it is getting to me……….lol

***Damn, I knew I liked a variety of music, but didn’t think they would break down that much…lol

It is nice to actually get to bed at a reasonable time & then get up at a reasonable time. We were even able to get a bike ride in before 10am.

We watched last night’s LOST show. It was nothing but a recap show, but it was good. Built us up for next week. It is driving me nuts………lol

I can’t wait to have a few days off here soon…..so much to do.

I’m getting ready to take off for work & just wanted to stop and say hi. =)

It was great to see the Pacers win last night. =) Very happy about that.

I spent my day at work. It has been crazy. We lost internet for about 4 hrs, it made it horrible to do business. =( And I swear we get the rudest & messiest people at our office…..annoying. No one has any common courteous anymore…ggrrr

Meet our new GM the other day. She seems really nice. I hope that she is one not to take crap. I’m that kind of person but it is hard when you are the only one on the management team to be that way. You don’t get any support & just develop enemies. Now if I was the ranking member that would be something different, then I could set the tone. When I talked to her it did seem as if we agreed on some areas that I find are pet peeves of mine, so I really like that. =) All I know is I can’t wait to have more help, cuz we really need it.

We are suppose to be having a house guest sometime this week but haven’t heard anything, so who knows.

I can’t wait until this summer when I can visit my family. I’ve been missing them something terrible.

I really need to get to my letters, if our guest doesn’t show up I may be able to do them this weekend & get started on our packing. If I could at least get my china cabinet & some of my knick-knacks done up then I would feel as if we are getting somewhere. =)

I will say, I don’t think I will be unpacking them once we move, not for a few months anyway. Same with hanging our pictures. I don’t want to have to take them down a year later. I want us to be located were we can stay for 2-3 years.

My brain is getting a little fried right now………I’m exhausted. So I’m going to call it a night. =)

I finally got around to changing all the links on the site to come to this page instead of my live journal. I also posted a finally entry on LJ directing folks to come here if they have bookmarked. So at least I got that done.

I hope to be able to load up all my old posts from there to here, but if not there is a link to my original journal so you can see all that I’ve posted in the last year….including all the hurricane stuff.

We are planning to start looking for a new place within the next 2 weeks. The folks we had talked to said start at the end of May……we are like that is too close of comfort.

Well, my laundry is begging to be put away…….grin
