  • When we moved here 4.5yrs ago, we switched out all of the old bulbs to the swirly ones, sunlight type…stored the old ones to switch back 00:20:43, 2013-02-20
  • Now we are dealing with horrible yellow light…so it looks dark and then when I went to brush my teeth…wow…it was hot 00:21:27, 2013-02-20
  • So not use to the yellow light, hurts the eyes…and boy those old bulbs give off a ton of heat 00:22:01, 2013-02-20
  • Since we can't use our favorite bulbs in Ackbar, I sent them off to my MI sister. =) 00:22:57, 2013-02-20
  • Cats hiding in bathroom, hubby taking stuff to Ackbar, I'm waiting to load up the jeep some more 10:03:40, 2013-02-20
  • On the road, not the best beginning this morning, but we are on our way. About 90min out from our stop. 14:27:01, 2013-02-20
  • The RV is loaded & a mess, did a little of what I could until we are parked & slide outs are extended. Cats not happy at all ={ 14:29:30, 2013-02-20
  • But until we are set up and they get to know it…..it'll take time for the kitties to get use to it 14:31:25, 2013-02-20
  • We got here by 3…..spent a few hrs getting Ackbar ready just for sleeping tonight….so much more to do get it setup 20:52:02, 2013-02-20

FINAL NIGHT!

Tomorrow we start a new phase of our lives. We will be full-timing in our RV!

Excited but cautious. Everything I know, own, and Love is in a aluminum box on wheels.

I am really trying to not think too much of the next few week’s. Trying to stay focused on the now and take everything one step at a time. I know what I have to do and I know the amount of time it must be done in. So starting Early Thursday is a must.

1) Install cat door to outside storage for litter.

2) Tile slide out floor.

3) Assemble 4 Ikea items.

4) Confirm our living/work space will work/function as we planned. If not make needed adjustment’s.

5) Attach Ikea items to slide out floor, attach desk top.

6) Confirm everything is secured properly and safely.

7) Modify existing cat tree into larger cat tree, secure to floor using swivel base.

If I can get this list completed the first week, life will be DAMN GOOD.

Getting up early, eat, make the final run to Ackbar, come back and shower, grab the cat’s and head off to Ackbar to prepare for the first leg of our new life.

Troutdale, Or to Everett, WA – 211 miles – 3 Hours 11 mins so says Google.

We plan to be there by 2pm and should be if all goes well.

Not like anything can go wrong right?

Really???

When we first viewed this house on August 8, 2008, we was told the property next door would be replacing the privacy fence that had rotted away.

Anyone want to take a guess what was started today, the day before we leave?
