what the hell are we doing today? 2012-12-22

  • So right now, it is much easier to think about what needs to be done around here…my brain and stress can work with that….I'm organizing ->
  • When I think about all that we have to learn about the RV….generator, water pump, batteries, furnace…..I feel so totally overwhelmed. ->
  • Went through parts of the kitchen, finish packing a few pictures & organizing a closet…making progress…. ->
  • Sore. http://t.co/lNxPzxtp ->

Sore.

The drive home must have stressed me out more then I thought. I just hurt. All over.

We tried to take some things from the garage to the rig, but I was just too exhausted and after learning that the lock keys can fit upside down, which is a lesson that took far too long to realize in the cold and rain, I realized I was done for the day.

Night.

where the hell are we today? 2012-12-21

  • It has been a very long day, an adventure getting home and so much to do tomorrow…bed time now ->
  • Officially a RV Owner. | um… where the hell are we? http://t.co/esDvphpV ->

Officially a RV Owner.

Yep. Today, after 2+ years of planning, of changing minds, of setting things in stone, of destroying said stone and writing something else in pencil. That all ended TODAY.

WE ARE RV OWNERS!

If I wasn’t so tired I would do a happy dance.

Things I have since come realize are a *MUST* when driving a RV home for the first time.

1) Make sure windows are all as clean as possible.

Grade F – The windows were so dirty that when it got dark and light hit the glass I was blinded by dirty windows.

2) If there are any flies inside, kill them before you start driving.

Grade F – I HATES HOUSE FLIES!!!!

3) Pay more attention on how to disconnect Jeep from RV.

Grade F – No idea why, but the “tow ball” is still connected to the Jeep, I just could not get it off. It was dark, cold, raining and it can wait until tomorrow.
