The original draft of the 1935 Economic Security Act, which established the Social Security Administration was 64 pages

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 – forbidding discrimination based on race and sex: 8 pages

The 19th amendment to the Constitution, giving Women the right to vote in 1920: 1 page

The Emancipation Proclamation, with which Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves in 1863: 5 pages

Or, if you really want to get back to basics: The Declaration of independence came in at 1 page in 1776

  • We are up, not sure if we are alive yet….lol But 16yrs ago today hubby & I had our 1st “date”, been together ever since. #
  • Did good on the treadmill, decided to do my abs at home, going to do those now so I can jump into the shower & do an errand. #
  • Just got back from my errand, trying to decide what I want to do next. =) #
  • How many more bridges need to fall before USA wakes up and spends the $ that is needed to redo the entire infrastructure? Ike is long gone.. #
  • That was my hubby’s observation. =) #
  • Just got done doing some outside work. It is one of our few non-rainy days so I took it. Now need to do some online work. #

  • Icks…chillier compared to yesterday, it was hard to get out of bed….I want my flannel sheets. =) #
  • Did pretty good at the gym today….had a hard time going up the stairs when we got home. Hoping to maintain it tomorrow….fingercrossed. #

  • The 1st Punisher film was good, the remake SUCKS!!!! They screwed up a good thing. #
  • Got a small head start on payroll prep….I hope to maintain it through the week. #
