Pauline and I went to a local Nature Park in the area today and what an incredible day it turned out to be. I think it was in the low 80’s, but hardly a cloud in the sky so we both got some sun since we forgot to take sun lotion. Â

The Toronto Raptors have agreed in principle to acquire forward Jermaine O’Neal from Indiana for point guard T.J. Ford, center Rasho Nesterovic, the 17th pick in the draft and a player to be named, The Canadian Press reported.
While The Canadian Press reported the deal Wednesday, citing an unidentified person close to the negotiations, Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo said he was in the midst of “four or five” conversations with teams involving Ford and a combination of Toronto’s No. 17 pick and/or other Raptors players.
A deal can’t be finalized until July 1, when Ford’s base-year compensation tag comes off the books.
O’Neal is a six-time All-Star. He averaged 13.6 points and 6.7 rebounds in 42 games last season

Well, they changed the temp for Saturday…it is no long 100, it is now 96……lol It was really nice out, but the normal chilly in the house. Tomorrow will be the last day for that….then the heat hits…icks
I did good on the treadmill today, a hell lot better then last Tuesday, thankfully. I haven’t tried on my old pants in while….guess what? I was able fit them! It has been about year since I was able to fit them…they are still tight as hell, but I can get into them and zip them up. Since I can’t seem to see the difference in the mirrow, this makes me happy as hell. Now I don’t have to worry about buying pants bigger then I wanted……just need to lose 5 more fat pounds and I’ll be to actually move around in my pants without a struggle…grin Need a little less jiggle over the waistband.

An American hiker stranded in the Bavarian Alps for nearly three days was rescued after using her sports bra as a signal, police in southern Germany said Monday.
Berchtesgaden police officer Lorenz Rasp said that he helped lift 24-year-old Jessica Bruinsma of Colorado to safety by helicopter on Thursday after she attracted the attention of lumberjacks by attaching her sports bra to a cable used to move timber down the mountain.
“She’s a very smart girl, and she acted very resourcefully,” said Rasp. “She kept her shirt and jacket for warmth, but thought the sports bra could work as a signal.”
