Thankfully all of my shopping is done!! Hot diggy damn! The only thing I may have left to do is get a little something for our postman, garage guys and recycle guys. But I did get the package to my family mailed off. So that was a relief. =)
I still haven’t received my stamps………..I knew I should’ve ordered them weeks ago but keep putting it off. =( Once I get them in, then I can mail off my cards.
Now I need to find time to balance the check books……….icks
I love this time of the year, I always have. It was the one time of the year that my sister and I didn’t fight as much. I love the decorations and lights that everyone puts up……so pretty, so sparkly….. My family use to go driving just to see what everyone has put up. I have a lot of great happy memories from when I was a kid.
I love getting presents (who doesn’t) but my favorite thing is getting presents for people that I love. I really love the season of giving and caring. I hate how the bible thumpers have twisted things where people don’t see past all the hatred and narrow mind ness of organized religion that we have in this country.
Sometimes my enthusiasm seems to over whelm people, when all I’m doing is enjoying myself. =( I think I just have one of those personalities that is all over the place sometimes. I wonder if I should give up on this time of the year and treat as any other day; I just don’t know if I can.
Time to start wrapping up, need to head to bed soon.
