It took me a few days but I finally got my itunes organized. It got so screwy because I did have the itunes program on my external, it was on my laptop and the music was on the external………..so when I had to reformat and didn’t move the itunes over……..totally goofed it. I had to totally reimport the library and then delete about 20GB of duplicates. I have about 11.5 GB left on my 80 GB ipod………which is totally incorrect to begin with since it has only 74 GB usable. So I’ve been playing around with that. We had brought a few new cds the other day that I haven’t heard because to get them on to my ipod I would need to resync it and lose what I had. So I reorganized it to the way I wanted it. Took over 2hrs for my ipod to sync up and get everything transfered over.
Tomorrow I really need to get my head into some work. I have just been wanting to hide from everyone right now…….
We got our ballot in the mail today for the special election. It is really cool that they do voting by mail. Oregon has the highest voter participation because of it. Now I just need to pick up some stamps for it.

Been busy as heck the last 2 days with work. Nothing exciting, just time consuming and eye blurring. I didn’t get my walk in today, probably should have, but I am under in calories today so it balanced out. I did get my walk in yesterday. =)
Portland is known as the City of Roses, but we are in a town on the outskirts so there is some, but not as much as the city. I did come cross a few on my walk. Most of them are very close to the houses and if I got any closer to take pictures they would probably think I was a burglar…………lol I did luck out and find one blooming near the sidewalk so I made my amateur attempt of getting a good shot.
I was even able to get some of the dew in the picture among the petals.
I need to get better on watching my shadow……..oops
I found another one hiding under some of the leaves.
Harold called his folks yesterday. Found out one their dogs, a malamute, got it bad from a porcupine. =( Over 1500 quills….3 different sizes. The vet got him taken care of, but there are more of them moving out of his nose and skin. The poor baby…..he is doing better, it has been 2 weeks.
I finally got our cell phones changed to a local number. We were just waiting on a few loose ends from Florida……..namely from our former landlord. That is now all taken care of, feels good. We will have these numbers, hopefully, for the next several years.
I went to all the accounts off of the top of my head and got that info changed, I know I must have missed a few but it is start. I also remembered to get our numbers listed on the Do No Call Registry : https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
I emailed everyone I could think of about the change and I text everyone. But I did goof on that, I texted everyone who were in the Est time zone not remembering that it was about 11pm their time! oops……..sorry everyone. My uncle called to chat when he got it. That was cool and he is in central time, so it was only about 10 there.
Tomorrow is going to be an errand day. I hope to get off my ass and start early…….we’ll see, I’m going to hold my breath. =)

Today was pretty productive even though it took me time to roll out of bed. Which is the hard part…….after so many of years of having to jump out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off, I like to take my time and spend time petting our cats……..which are right there meowing at us when they know when we are awake. I’m usually awake, just don’t want to leave the comfy-ness of it. Then I have to get out of bed….I get restless and my body gets sore from laying there…..I can’t handle that. I will say that I’m pretty proud that I haven’t made the habit of taking naps even when I get the urge. =)
After I finally got myself moving….which involved the normal morning surfing of the news and some boards…….and then seeing online how bad Purdue was getting their asses handed to them, since it wasn’t on tv. I went out for a walk…..not enough in the habit yet to call it my walk…..went further back on a back road and found some really nice houses……the hills giving my legs a work out as soon as I got my foot settled into it. I’ve taken so many pictures of purple flowers that I was trying to get pictures of other colors to show.

When I got back from the walk I did a few minutes on the elliptical machine and then hit the shower. I was getting ready to settle down to get some work done, when Harold had a to have a caramel mocha….he has become a fan and is officially a north westerner now. =) So we headed out and also stopped at the drugstore to get pictures taken for our passports, now we just need pick them up……..and then on for our drinks.
I attacked my pile of emails and messages. Took longer then I thought and then some lite online work. Not as much as I thought I would do, but it is a start.
I’m hoping I’m a little be more productive tomorrow during the day, I have a bunch of work to attack tomorrow night that I hope to get done.

I took a longer and a different walk today. I went out to the main road and walked to different entrance of the neighborhood………then went further on down the street then I had been. Found that there was new construction going on and found a back road. I’m thinking of checking that out next time.
We went into Portland this evening for a small get together. It was nice and laid back. Sometimes getting out of the house helps me to focus on work when we get back.
