Ever since the storms Tues/Wed we were having issues staying online. Harold called our internet provider and they got out here yesterday, changed out our modem and checked a few other things. Whatever else they did, they got it going. It was really starting to piss us off…..gggrrr

I went back to work yesterday, it was great to see everyone and catch up. What was weird was that even though I didn’t do very much, it exhausted me when I came home. I did finally get to meet our new regional boss. I guess, I’m infamous at home office with all my reports when I come across issues…….grin He said it with a smile so it was a good thing. I really like him, a lot better then one of the others we’ve had. And it was really cool to see an updated report and see that he had them use one of my ideas for it. That just made my day……….grin

Looks like I was missed……..at least for the laughter…..grin

But I had so much to do when I got home……a ton of stuff. Every two weeks I have a bunch of things that I need to do for the online accounting, which wouldn’t be that much of thing if I didn’t have the day job or it landed on my day off. But doing it around work shifts is a whole other matter. I did get a great portion of it done last night and had spent my days off prepping for it……thankfully, otherwise I would be really struggling tonight, but I ended up staying up later then I should have when having to work in the morning. On the plus side, I get to sleep in before going in tomorrow. =)

I did get to the dentist……….it is a great relief to get my crown in. At least I don’t have to worry about shattering my tooth. I have my foot doctor Monday and I’m just going to have the surgery. I’m tired of the meds and the side effects and I want to be able to exercise without crying. I did get Harold and I appointments for the eye doctor. I haven’t had an exam in a couple of years and Harold since he got out of the Navy (not good). So once we get that done, I will feel much better. =)

I sent my dad some flowers for daddy’s day. =) I forgot it was for this week, I was thinking it was next Sunday the 24th…..don’t ask me why. I sent him a card, but it won’t get there until Monday/Tuesday area.

I think I’m going to jump into the shower.

I don’t want to go in to work tomorrow………cry, cry……lol I miss everyone, but it has been real nice to do my own thing, not feel rushed and overwhelmed. Nice to get time outdoors, where I’ve gotten a little sun….but never on my legs where I really want it.

I start off tomorrow with a trip to the dentist to get my crown, so that should be my last visit in a while, then straight to work for a 10hr day. I still need to call the eye doctor and get Harold & myself appointments while we have the insurance through my day job. Then I’m seeing my foot doctor Monday and unfortunately, I’m going to need surgery. My foot is really no better. =( Damn, I don’t want to go through this……….it so sucks. =( I’m not going to be able to work for a week and then I’ll probably be limping around……gggrrrr

The last 2 days of my vacation has been raining so it sucked on pool time. And that was after all the work that Torn did to make the pool nice for us, but we did get enjoyment out of it. =) But with the rain comes a small cool down, so we can open the windows and shut off the air and you get the nice fresh smell. So that is a plus.

It has been very nice not to have to put make up on everyday. =) Much better for my skin and I love not having to clean my eyes out of make up through out the day and then have to scrub it all off at night. The trade off is that I’m a strawberry blonde with all the fairness, so I have non-existent eyelashes and my eyes just don’t pop. I scare myself when I look in the mirror……..lol…….very bland. Women and make up…….damn if you do and damn if you don’t.

We did get some packing done today. I got my china cabinet and knick-knacks in the living/dining room done. I have all of my grandma’s china and I’m use my cabinet for all my sentimental stuff…..such as our wedding stuff, things from my child hood….all the girly type thing. My sentimental stuff always has it place, I know that it may be weird to some, but growing up moving around you end up with all this change that you can’t control. With all my stuff in it rightful spot, I had some control and made me feel at home. I guess it is my security blanket.

Harold attacked all of our pictures……..boy do we have a ton of those and let me give a hint when packing pictures….lots and lots of fed ex boxes. I swear those are the perfect size and the best damn thing for them. Then they almost always fit perfectly unto u-haul standard size boxes.

That is about all we got packed……pretty much out of bubble wrap….we are going to need a ton more of the stuff. I still have knick-knacks in the bed room and I really need to go through all of my old clothes…..most of them will be trashed, not worth giving away.

Holy cow things get dusty in this state. I know I’m not a duster, but our stuff never got this bad. Let me put it to you this way, 4yrs in one house in Indiana of not dusting has nothing on 2 yrs of it here. The construction sure didn’t help…..but damn.

Well, unfortunately I have to actually go to bed at a better time tonight and I have other things that I need to get done. So blog with you later.
