Another day to do my own thing…..it is nice to have. In some ways I really don’t want to go back to work since I have so much to do here……and no I haven’t started packing yet….icks

We started the day off with errands, including another trip to the store…..lol. Don’t you hate that, you think you have everything and then you end up with even a bigger list afterwards……go figure.

I did get the bed sheets changed and litters done and I made some oatmeal cookies for Harold. =) Time to jump for joy……..lol But I will admit, I did really distract myself with surfing when I shouldn’t have. Very sad. So tomorrow, I’m really going to have to focus. Because Wednesday I want it to be a day of packing………I NEED it to be a day of packing. =( Lets see if I do it.

We had storms move in today. During the time of the day that I want to be outside, so needless to say that didn’t happen. I’m not too happy about. Didn’t help that I couldn’t start my errands as early as I wanted to……….gggrrr

But I did get all the coolers out of our garage and donated to the red cross. Driving down the road with the cab of my truck packed to the rim with styrofoam coolers, what a sight. I didn’t put them in back because I would’ve had to do some major strapping to make sure that they don’t blow everywhere. When I put something in back, that isn’t heavy, it makes me paranoid that I’m going to have stuff flying down the road. So it was just easier to put them in my cab.

I did some work done online, seems to be never ending. But that is nothing new. =)

Well……I got a lot done today. 99% of it all paperwork. I had a ton of receipts to enter that had piled up. So I spent time sorting it all out and took a small pile of it to my set up on the patio and attacked it. It took me all day, but all of our receipts have been entered.

I did have to spend an hour trying to figure out why I was off by $45 in our business account….that one I’ve always been dead on. I did find it. I want to set up the check books in quickbooks but can’t figure out how to do now with out starting the company all over much less with 2 different accounts……There is so much I need to learn to fully utilize that program.

Harold did get the pool cleaned up, thankfully. We actually got to spend some time in and it was hot out for it. We got some sun. =)

We started the day off with a quick run to the store, for chorlne tabs and what not. Of course, we left a ton a stuff that we still need to get…….so off to the store I go including a few other errands………joy, joy.

There was a few things that I wanted to get done that didn’t was start going through my clothes for good will and change the bed sheets….this one fitted sheet keeps coming off on Harold.

I had some thoughts that I wanted to share about people who annoy me, but my brain is now muddled……..grin

We are back. Came back early, which is nice since it gives me more time to do things.

The only thing I’m kind of pissy about is that our pool is turning green. =( The pool was starting to turn before we left last Wed, but we don’t even know if the pool guy came since it rain hard that day. Harold has the filter going for the night, so I have my fingers crossed but I’m not holding my breath. I know that I can still swim in it, still cleaner then some of the lakes and ponds that I’ve been in, but it still pisses me off. Every damn time I get the time to enjoy it, it is a day that the pool guy is coming so I can’t use it, or something like this. So needless to say I’m pretty annoyed.

I did get other things done including calling my folks to wish them Happy 35th Anniversary……..grin

I got some things caught up on the store, balanced all 4 of the different checkbooks we have….that is interesting in itself. Got our stuff unpacked, only one load of laundry left in the dryer, moved a few things around in the garage…..boy is it nice not to have the gym in there and I’ll be getting rid of all the coolers from our steak deliveries Monday. Right now I’m getting ready to start sorting our receipts which is a huge disaster.

We did sell our gym set Wednesday before we left………thankfully.  It was the big white elephant in the garage.  We didn’t want to have to move it. We thought about just leaving behind….but we can’t do that.  We are getting rid of our couch and 2 of our tvs.  We are tying to get rid of some of our bigger items to make it easier.  When it comes to our tvs, we are wanting flat screens and we don’t spend much time in the living room anyway.

I found a place to take all of our coolers that we have accumulated due to all the orders we have done with omaha steaks. They are good thick coolers, great for hurricane preparation even without having handles.  We just didn’t want to throw them away and have all the foam end up in a land fill. =(

I have been doing some reading, trying to catch up on my magazines……..yeah, right………lol  That will never happen, but I do try.
